Today’s Question is: How Do I Market on a Tight Budget?
Ok so if bandit signs are not allowed how do I market?
Look, bandit signs are not allowed in most areas, that’s why they’re called “Bandit” signs.
So if you see a lot of bandit signs in an area, it’s a safe bet you can put them there. If nobody else is putting them up, don’t put them up. Because the reason nobody else is putting up Bandit signs is because the local “authorities” or sign enforcement is very strong – and you’ll get in trouble.
But what are the other ways to market if I’m on a shoe-string budget? Let me tell you one way before you even consider putting out Bandit signs.
Pick up your phone, and call some adds “for rent” and “for sale”. Also, check expired listings. Look up on craigslist, trulia, zillow. Just Google “For Sale By Owner” in your area, and you’ll find plenty of listings.
So if you can’t put Bandit signs, call people.
Or – some of you are gonna hate me for saying this – but if you don’t have money for marketing, consider getting a side job. Work Saturdays, and make an extra $500/month for marketing. Or even $200 or $100.
Look, we live in America, the best country in the world. There’s plenty of opportunities for people who want to take action and change their lives.
So when someone says, “I don’t have $200 for marketing” I’ll ask them, how hard is it to make $200 bucks? It’s really not that hard if you put in that extra effort. I know all of you can do it.
It comes down to this: I was broke and I can tell you that I was broke, and being broke is a temporary condition. It’s well within your reach to change it.
So if you can’t come up with $200 bucks, how bad do you really want it?
